Shenandoah Valley Campaign - Electric Map
Just south of Harrisonburg, Va. on highway 42 is the historic town of Dayton, home of the "Harrisonburg Rockingham Historical Society Museum". This gem is a travel stop not to be missed. The museum houses a 20 - 25' relief map of the Valley which, along with an audio/video presentation, uses light to trace "Stonewall" Jackson's famous Valley Campaign. Then there is the museum itself which very tastefully and attractively displays artifacts from the valley as well as a "civil war corner". It'll be the best $3 you have ever spent!
